Products and Applications

Urban Mapping
Vexcelme provides a full suite of products and services relating to mapping of the urban environment. These include traditional photogrammetric products as well as fully-detailed 3D building models which integrate measurements and modeling from spaceborne, airborne and street-level imagery to provide geo-specific and photo-realistic modeling. Additional layers of information may be captured and incorporated into a full data set for use in support of urban planners, appraisers, navigation and visualization/simulation specialists, and a broader set of map users and consumer applications such as entertainment.

Environmental and Resource Management Mapping
Vexcelme provides digital maps that can be used for questions and issues in water management, water quality, agriculture, land and environment and is specifically targeted at the following types of organization: water authorities, hydrographical organizations, local and national government bodies and agri-businesses.

Environmental Monitoring & Wetland Surveys
Vexcelme offers services in support of environmental assessments, providing land use and land cover maps, vegetation mapping, and change detection. Through the use of both optical (panchromatic and mutli-spectral) and Radar imagery, georeferenced output maps are derived. The wetland products can be presented either as cartographic output, or be used for further geospatial modeling and analysis in a GIS.

3D Topographical Information
Vexcelme offers high quality, affordable 3D topographic data in the form of Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and Orthorectified Images (ORI). These products can be delivered within weeks or even days, independent from cloud coverage, providing data solutions for short-term projects with tight deadlines.

Location Based Services (LBS)
Vexcelme offers location based services such as Arcpad, providing practical applications that use modern equipment to assist in field observations. Arcpad enables fieldworkers to visualize a high-resolution satellite map of the area on a handheld (PDA) and the ability to allocate and display the position of the fieldworker through the means of a GPS receiver.
